Product Details

It is important to identify blood groups before carrying out a blood transfusion. First, your students assemble red blood cells and antibodies using the colorful templates. Then they use their 3D blood component models to carry out a simulated procedure to test the ABO and Rhesus blood group. The model shows how antibodies are used to clump (agglutinate) red blood cells together and determine the blood type of a sample.
