The Bridge Kits from WhiteBox Learning® offer great middle and high school structure-building activities. Students learn important STEM principles, including compression, tension, method of joints, statics, stability, trigonometry and yield strength. Kits include wood strips, a 32-oz bottle of wood glue and 2-oz bottles for each student. Enhance the experience with the WhiteBox Learning standards-based, cloud-based Structures 2.0 STEM Software Application (available separately). This software lets students design, analyze and simulate (test) their designs virtually then print templates to scale and build physical models. Sold in kits for 10 or 25 students. Available with balsa or basswood strips. Hobby knife, small clips, foamboard, pins and wax paper are required but not included.
