     Light Sticks
Add to your supply list! Simply bend these plastic light sticks to generate light. Each plastic tube contains a glass ampule that is broken when the tube is bent. The plastic tube and the glass ampule contain different chemicals that mix and react once the ampule is broken. The resulting chemical reaction produces light—chemiluminescence. Each light stick measures 6" long × 5⁄8" diameter.

Optics Kit, Economy Choice
Flinn C-Spectra®, 8" x 10" Sheet
See the colors of the spectrum with Flinn C-Spectra®. The vivid spectrum with distinct color separations helps students understand and enjoy the spectrum. No matter where you look through the C-Spectra, you will always easily see the spectrum. C-Spectra won’t bust your budget either. One 8" x 10" sheet can be cut to provide 30 11⁄2"-square pieces— enough for an entire class. 200 lines/mm.
AP1714 I $21.70
LED Light Blocks
Affordable and effective! Unique design includes adapters that fit on the end of
each block to create a thin light beam that can be directed through optical blocks to study reflection, refraction and focal length. Remove the adapters to create wider beams of light to show color mixing—blue + green + red = white light!

Discover the fundamental properties of light with this all-in-one optics kit! Students learn about the laws of reflection and refrac- tion, study images created by convex and concave lenses and use a prism to separate the rainbow of colors in white light. Optical components are made from durable acrylic. Instruction guide with 20 experiments is also included. Kit tray keeps all the pieces together for easy storage.
AP6709 I $41.20
Spectroscope
This inexpensive, handheld diffraction grat- ing spectroscope will measure wavelengths of light from 400–700 nanometers (nm) with an accuracy of ±5 nm. Great for use with spectrum tubes or when doing flame tests. Students will better understand spectra after using this quantitative analysis spec- troscope. Unit is housed in an unbreakable plastic case. Overall length: 20 cm; scale length: 37 mm. Instructions for laboratory use are included.
AP8696 I $9.95
Equilateral Prism Set
Tough acrylic prisms are made to last a life- time and will survive continual student use. These clear prisms provide quality optics and are ideal for use in all your basic optics labs. Save money with the conveniently packaged set of acrylic prisms. Set includes one each of the following prism sizes: 25 × 25 mm (AP6055), 25 × 50 mm (AP4647), 25 × 75 mm (AP4640) and 25 × 100 mm (AP4649), also available individually.
