Hot Plate, Digital, CimarecTM
This newly designed hot plate retains its solid, flat ceramic top that is chemical resistant and provides good, even heat transfer. The large surface area brings solutions to temperature quickly, with boiling reached in less than eight minutes, significantly less time than comparable models.
New features include a hot surface alert system for protection from accidental burns. Bright red warning lights are displayed when the top surface is above 50 °C (122 °F). The warning is displayed even when the unit is unplugged! The hot plates are also equipped with an easy­to­read digital display of temperature settings, adjustable in 1 °C increments, from 5 °C up to 540 °C (41 °F to 1004 °F). Low­profile body provides stability and the power cord is detachable, making stor­ age much easier. Integral ring stand holder accepts 1⁄2" diameter support rod (Flinn Catalog No. AP8228), UL listed.
Cimarec Hot Plate electrical requirements: 4" x 4"—120 volts, 4.75 amps, 410 watts; 7" x 7"—120 volts, 13 amps, 1040 watts. Maximum temperature: 540 °C (1004 °F).
Hot Plate, Student Model
Adjustable temperature hot plate has a maximum temperature of 371 °C. Its adjustable temperature control senses the temperature of the cast aluminum top, providing excellent temperature stability of your sample.
The housing is made of perforated steel and aluminum. Sufficient ventilation is provided to protect both the hot plate and your bench top from overheating. Furnished with a three­wire cord and plug for 120 volts, 60 Hz, 300 watts. UL approved. Extremely rugged and will provide long life.
DLAB Digital Hot Plates
The high­quality DLAB digital hot plates feature
easy­to­set temperature control at ±5 °C and excel­
lent chemical resistance. The hot plates can withstand
repeated use in teaching and research laboratories and feature a “HOT” warning that flashes at temperatures above 50 °C.
