Basic Field Scope
A durable, fully­functional microscope for field and classroom use. Designed for simplicity with only one moving part and no gears, knobs, cords, or mirrors. Constructed of solid nickel­plated brass, these scopes are corrosion­resistant and virtually unbreakable. The friction­focusing mechanism is so sure and easy that elementary students can use these scopes with minimal instruction but can also be used right through high school. Total magnification is 30X and prism illuminator sends transmitted light up through the stage, allowing you to view the internal structure of thinly sectioned specimens. Also view the exterior of 3­D specimens, printed matter and other ordinary objects. Includes locked on eyepiece, locked on stage clips and a vinyl dust cover.

Three objective lenses magnify from 40X to 400X when used with the included 10X eyepiece. Focusing has never been easier with one coarse focus knob. LED illumination is powered by three AA rechargeable batteries or the external power supply. Adjust the brightness using the disc diaphragm and keep slides in place with sturdy slide clips.
