Flinn Economy Compound Microscope

The accessible coarse and fine focus knobs move smoothly with an all­metal rack and pinion system and rack stop to prevent damage.

MS1123 has the features of a high­end microscope at an exceptional value. In addition to the triple nosepiece and iris diaphragm, MS1123 also has a mechanical stage and ABBE condenser. Your students will precisely scan slides and measure cells and organelles using the high­ quality mechanical stage. Once honed in, students can control the contrast and sharpen the image at high magnification with the ABBE condenser.
MS1122 has the same quality features of the MS1123 with the addition of a 100X oil­immersion lens. High magnification allows for characterization of bacteria and greater resolution of major cell organ­ elles. If your class engages in a significant amount of microbiology or histology, consider purchasing microscopes with a 100X objective lens.
