                           Hand Microtome, Economy Choice
Cutting precision at a great price! This economy choice hand micro­ tome allows you to equip multiple workstations without “breaking your budget.” The finely threaded advancement mechanism will assure your tissue preparations are thin and evenly cut. The chrome­plated surfaces will resist rust and provide years of smooth surface cutting.
The microtome package includes paraffin, microtome knife, and instruction guide.
Hand Microtome
Precision hand microtome at a good price. The side set screw and internal clamp are used to lock the specimen securely into place in the center of the microtome. Specimens are exposed for cutting by turning the precision calibrated screw base. As the base is turned the specimen is raised above the cutting surface in very small increments. The cutting blade is then used to carefully cut a razor­thin section appropriate for microscope mounting and viewing. Cutting blade and microtome sold separately.
Staining Jar, Coplin, Polyethylene, with Lid
An unbreakable plastic slide staining jar with internal grooves. Will hold up to 10 standard 25 x 75 mm slides back to back. Screw top cap is provided. Jar size is 45 mm in diameter and 114 mm high. Autoclavable.
