3B Scientific® SONOtrainTM Gallbladder Model
Ultrasound block with three gallbladders with different pathologies: gallstones (8 and 10 mm diameter), thickened gallbladder wall and biliary sludge deposit. The gallstones and the biliary sludge deposit can move around. Easy­to­use, cost­effective and realistic echogenicity. The material of the SONOtrainTM trainer simulates the feel of real soft tissue for carrying out palpations and injections and shows realistic texture and echogenicity on ultrasound images. The SONOtrainTM trainer is an excellent teaching tool for basic training and for improving dexterity and hand­eye coordination skills. 3B Scientific® Giant Dental Care Model
Giant dental care model, large enough to be seen from the back of a classroom, illustrates the upper and lower half of an adult’s dentition. A flexible joint between the jaws allows easy movement of the dental care model. Teach the proper teeth­cleaning techniques using the giant 14" toothbrush included with this dental care model.
3B Scientific® MICROanatomyTM Tongue Model
Part of the MICROanatomyTM series, the tongue model is fascinating in that it combines various enlargements of specific parts of the tongue in one model. It comprises a macroscopic view of the tongue in life size (dorsal view) and microscopic views of the various papillae of the tongue (10–20X life size) and of a taste bud (approximately 450X life size). All views are mounted on a base that also features an overview of the sensory and sensitive innervation of the tongue. A unique model for an intensive study of the tongue.
3B Scientific® Dentition Development Model
The dentition development model is cast from a natural specimen, contains four upper and lower jaw halves and illustrates four different stages of dentition development: newborn, approx. five­year­old child, approx. nine­year­old child and young adult. Dentition development model is mounted on a stand.
Lower Youth Jaw with Removable Teeth
Enlarged 3.5 times, this model of the lower jaw provides the details that normal­size models don’t show. The 31 labeled structures provide visual relationships like no other jaw model. An incisor, developing canine, pre­molar and molar teeth are all removable to illustrate jaw/ teeth connections. A portion of the mandible is cut away showing nerve and blood supplies to the teeth. An absolute must for anatomy and health classes for illustration of tooth/jaw connections. Model is freestanding and measures 36 x 10 x 24 cm.
