Ever-Safe® Thermometer
A 12"-long non-mercury thermometer with an accuracy range of ±1 °C. The bright-colored fluid against a white background with permanently fused markings makes this thermometer very easy to read. Should be stored in an upright position to prevent the column from separating. Anti-roll device included.
Metal-backed Thermometer
Non-mercury thermometer is securely fastened onto an aluminum metal backing for added durability. Easy-to-read temperature scales are printed on the metal backing. Celsius scale is graduated with 1-degree divisions; Fahrenheit scale is graduated with 2-degree divisions.
Spirit-filled Thermometer
A safer, non-mercury alternative. While these instruments are not as accurate as mercury-filled thermometers, they are “good enough” considering the hazards posed by mercury contamination. Available as partial or total immersion. 12" long with 1 °C subdivisions. To prevent column separation, always store in an upright position.

Make your own thermometer! Ungraduated partial immersion, spirit- filled, white back, 12" thermometer. Range is –20 °C to 110 °C.
PTFE-coated, Spirit-filled Thermometer
A tough PTFE coating makes these spirit-filled thermometers shat- terproof and resistant to acids and corrosive chemicals. Even if broken, they remain leakproof and the red colored spirit is completely contained. Designed with toughened bulbs at each end for added strength. Thermometers come with anti-roll-off devices to prevent roll- ing when placed on the lab bench, and feature yellow backs and vertical numerals for easy reading. Available in short 8" length. To prevent column separation, always store in an upright position.
