Thermometer, Indoor/Outdoor
Large, 12" diameter, easy-to-read instrument. Numbers are 11⁄4" in size and can be read from across the laboratory. Mount indoors or out in a central location and everyone will be able to see it. The instrument is accurate to within ±2° C. Thermometer is calibrated in both Celsius and Fahrenheit.
Thermometer, Microscale
Easily fit into the wells of a microscale reaction plate. Range is 0–100 °C with 5° graduations. Scale is permanently fused into the glass. Length is 23⁄8". We have found these thermometers to be very good for experiments that require a T measurement. Magnesium metal in 6M hydrochloric acid gives an enthalpy of reaction that compares with book values.

Oven Thermometer
Hang, mount, or stand this non-mercury thermometer inside your oven. Measures temperatures up to 300 °C in 10 °C increments. Large, black scale in Fahrenheit and Celsius with black pointer. Stainless steel construction.
Oven Thermometer with Probe
This metal, non-mercury thermometer is a safer choice for use in an oven than a standard mercury thermometer. If a mercury thermometer is broken in an oven you have the perfect conditions for flooding the oven (and ultimately the lab) with toxic mercury vapors.
The thermometer has an 8" metal probe, which is designed to be inserted into the thermometer hole in the oven while the thermometer face remains outside the oven. This provides better temperature control since the oven temperature can be monitored without having to open the oven. Thermometer reads to 250 °C in increments of 2 °C. If the entire thermometer is placed inside the oven, it will only withstand tempera- tures up to 150 °C. The 13⁄4" diameter thermometer face has black graduations and a fine black pointer. Stainless steel clamp is included for attaching the thermometer to the wall of the beaker.
