Safety Supplies
Eyewashes, continued
Eyewash, Swivel
This device is ideally deck-mounted next to a sink. When needed, simply swing the safety aid over the sink. When not in use, it swivels out of the way. Complete with two bright yellow heads, 1⁄2" IPS (Iron Pipe Size) male inlet, stay-open ball valve. No drain necessary since the device is mounted next to a sink. Left or right mounting. Self-adjusting regulator assures an even water flow rate of 2.4 gallons per minute. Counter top eyewash sign included. Eyewash is ANSI Z358.1–2009, SEI certified.
Eyewash/Drench Hose, Counter Mount
Save valuable counter space while providing the safety protection you and your students need in the laboratory. Install this hand-held dual- stream hose next to the sink on the counter—the 8-foot reinforced PVC hose is attached to your water supply and conveniently stored below the counter. In an emergency, simply squeeze the “stay-open locking- handle,” and flood both eyes with fresh water. It can also be used as a body drench, rinsing off the face, neck, arms, legs, or wherever needed. Each spray head has a flip-top dust cover, internal flow control, and a filter to remove impurities from the water flow. Complete with two bright orange heads, chrome-plated brass squeeze valve, and standard 3⁄8" pipe threads (NPT), ready to attach to your water supply. Eyewash wall placard included. Eyewash is ANSI Z358.1–2009, SEI certified.
Emergency Body Shower/Drench/
Eye/Face Wash Combination
This versatile eyewash can be converted into a drench shower for the entire body by simply lifting the spray head. Provides a continuous dual stream of drenching water wherever aimed. Bayonet mounted for stationary flushing, or removable for spot body drenching. Both units are ANSI Z358.1–2009, SEI certified.
Wall Mounted Type: Fixed position wall mount allows for easy instal- lation on a wall or the side of a laboratory bench. Mounting bracket includes spring clips to ensure that the spray heads face forward at all times. Unit may be left in the mounting bracket for use as a fixed eyewash, leaving the user’s hands free or removed for use as a drench hose. Each spray head has a flip-top dust cover, internal flow control, and filter to remove impurities from the water flow. Features a chrome- plated brass stay-open ball valve with PTFE seals and a retractable 12' reinforced-nylon hose. Requires a 3⁄8" NPT connection to water supply. Swivel Benchtop Type: Mounted onto the top of the lab bench next to a sink. When needed, the eyewash swivels over the sink so the water will go down the drain. Features include 1⁄2" chrome-plated bronze stay- open ball valve with chrome-plated ball and stainless steel pushplate; plastic, dual stream heads with chrome-plated brass yoke; plastic float- off covers with stainless steel bead chains; 6' coiled hose stores neatly when not in use; self-adjusting regulator assures a constant, even flow of 8 gallons per minute under varying conditions. Requires a 1⁄2" NPT connection to water supply.

Squeeze Bottle Eyewashes
These devices are not safe and should not be used! Why? Squeeze bottle eyewashes only treat one eye at a time. They simply cannot provide the volume of water necessary to properly treat the eyes, and they are easily contaminated by vandalism. Get rid of them! They are unsafe and give you a false sense of protection.
