MegaGarden System
The MegaGarden System provides an ebb-and-flow (flood-and-drain) system in a convenient 22" x 22"
x 10" space. The submersible pump and timer allow this compact system to pump nutrient solution up from the 71⁄2-gallon reservoir into a controlled insert grow tray with water level indicator so all plants are watered uniformly on a timed cycle. Includes seed starter cubes, grow- ing medium, fifteen 51⁄2"-square planters, a nutrient sample, pH test kit and illustrated instructions.
Greenhouse Kit, Student
Maximize success with this all-in-one student greenhouse kit. The plastic tray and clear plastic cover retain the warmth and humidity that seeds need to germinate and thrive. Twenty-five expanding peat pellets fit into the tray and provide an optimum germination medium for all types of seeds. This economical unit is ideal for individual student use, for independent projects, and for science fairs.
Planting Trays and Accessories
With these reusable plastic trays and accessories you can easily custom- ize your own seed-starting setup. The trays are durable, watertight plastic and measure 11" x 22". Inserts to create 72 individual cells are available to fit the planting tray. A clear plastic greenhouse cover which efficiently maintains warmth and humidity for healthier seedlings. Greenhouse cover securely fits the 11" x 22" tray.
Pots, Plastic
The industry standard. Sturdy plastic pots in a variety of popular sizes. Pots have a traditional shape and flat bottoms. Bottoms are perforated with several drainage holes and small legs keep pots slightly elevated to facilitate drainage and ventilation. Colors of pots may vary.
Peat Pots, Jiffy®
These pots are pre-formed from peat and natural fibers making them 100 percent biodegradable. As they are also easily penetrated by growing roots, young plants can be placed in the ground or a larger pot with no chance of root damage or shock. Ideal for starting seeds and rooting cuttings.
Pot Marker Labels
Writing stays clear and legible on these stiff, vinyl-plastic markers. Easy to mark with a soft pencil or felt tip pen, they measure 4" x 5⁄8". In packages of 100.
