Made of durable polymethylpropylene (PMP), the funnel has a diam­ eter of 196 mm (almost 8"). The 33­cm filter paper shown below fits perfectly into the funnel, and its creped surface allows rapid filtration of coarse precipitates.

Filter Discs for Büchner Funnel
Polyethylene discs used to support and keep filter paper off the perfo­ rated surface of the Büchner funnel. These discs will reduce the hole blockages, keep the filtering surface free, and increase the filtration speed. Not necessary for use of the Büchner funnel—but helpful.
Stopper for Büchner Funnel
Specially fabricated rubber stoppers that accept poly­
propylene and porcelain Büchner funnels. Stopper
Size No. 6 will fit a 250­mL filtering flask, while stopper Size No. 7 will fit a 500­mL filtering flask.
