Xenopus are robust amphibians that lack a tongue and visible ear. These 5–12" frogs are multicolored on their back with blotches
of olive gray or brown. Females are considerably larger, weighing 200 g, whereas the males only weigh around 60 g. Life span of 15 years. Tadpoles sold as a unit of 50. Juvenile and adult frogs sold individually. Shipments to Alaska, Arizona, California, Kentucky, Louisiana, Hawaii, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oregon, Puerto Rico, Utah, Virginia
and Washington require a permit.
