Don’t let the fear of contracting contagious diseases
through body fluids stop you from doing urinalysis
laboratories. Artificial urine can eliminate all of the potential prob- lems associated with real urine while still providing very realistic urinalysis tests.
This 1-L bottle of artificial urine can be used to perform hundreds of urinalysis tests. Recipes are provided so that you can create urine samples with different compositions for testing. Elements such as glucose, salt, protein, epithelial cells, and red blood cells can be added to create realistic conditions for detection via urinalysis tests. The pH, color, odor, and specific gravity can easily be altered to create still other conditions for testing.
Very Safe—Contains no real body fluids or components.
Urine Test Strips—Multipurpose
A single test strip provides semi-quantitative measurement of five different parameters. By simple color comparison with the reference chart on the package, values can be obtained for ketones (mmol/L), glucose (mg/dL), protein (g/L), pH and blood. Development times range from 10 seconds to 3 minutes. 100 strips per vial.
Glucose Test Strips
Clinical reagent strips for quantitative glucose determination. Bottle of 100 strips, measuring in the range of 0 to >110 mmol/L. Color chart has six color-coded increments. Accurate and easy to interpret.
Hydrometer Jar
Used with urine hydrometer to obtain the specific gravity of urine. Heavy weighted glass provides extra stability. Straight side walls and pour spout lip provides easy pouring convenience. Overall height 13.5 cm.
