Newton’s G Ball
How high are those bleachers? How fast did you throw that ball? Study gravity, acceler- ation, height and velocity by throwing this educational tool in any direction. A digital timer measures the amount of time the
ball is in the air and automatically stops when the ball impacts a soft surface. Timer displays times from 0.01 to 29.99 seconds. Includes stand, activity guide, batteries and an instructor’s guide with instructions, back- ground information and a student activity. 33⁄4" diameter.

Galileo Thermometers
Add some color and fun to your lessons
on specific gravity with a colorful and dramatic Galileo thermometer. Add multi- colored liquids in sealed bulbs in a large sealed tube and you have a captivating permanent demonstration of this important principle. Each bulb in the thermometer is partially filled with a different colored fluid and a metal tag beneath it with a printed Fahrenheit temperature. The bulbs are in continual motion up and down the column as the temperature changes. Two sizes are available.

Force Mechanism Trough
Clever device for numerous collision/ friction/gravity experiments. The four- position, spring-trigger device allows for controlled and repeatable force applications to the 1" steel balls and/or friction block. Place one ball at the trigger and the other four balls in the center of the track. What happens when the ball is fired into the other four balls? What happens with more force? What if two balls are fired? Elevate the track and determine what effect gravity and/or friction has on the descent of a ball. You will design many experiments to use with this device. Comes assembled with five steel balls and one friction block.

Specific Gravity Metal Specimen Set
Set includes four different metal cylinders for use in measurement and density exper- iments. Their small size (5 cm long x 1.3 cm diameter) makes them perfect for use in a graduated cylinder. Includes copper, brass, aluminum and steel.

IMSA Fusion—Mars: Manifest Destiny
In the IMSA Fusion—Mars: Manifest Destiny STEM curriculum Premium Module Kit, students consider the enormous challenge of planning a permanent, sustainable colony on Mars by exploring gravity and orbital mechanics, the environmental conditions on Mars and space- flight hardware currently in development. They will also participate in citizen science projects, analyze actual imagery from the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter and other platforms to apply engineering design principles in proposals of new space-flight hardware and apply project management techniques to develop their own mission architecture.
