Product Details

Introduce your students to the cell cycle and how it is divided into different stages, including mitosis. Your students will begin by making models of cells and chromosomes, they then learn about what happens during mitosis and the cell cycle. In the process, they will look at growth of subcellular structures and replication of DNA during interphase. Next, they learn the steps of mitosis including cell nucleus break down, line up of chromosomes on cell fibers, chromosome separation and nucleus reformation and cytokinesis.
