Product Details

Quickly determine the conductivity of a solution with this low-priced current indicator. A red LED is illuminated if the solution conducts electricity. For use with 24-well reaction plates or combination plates. 9-volt battery required but not included.

How to Assemble and Use the Current Indicator
  1. Place the current indicator in one of the wells of a 24-well reaction plate.
  2. Attach one of the black wires to the negative () terminal of a 9-volt battery. Place the other black wire in the well of the 24-well reaction plate containing the solution for which the conductivity will be measured.
  3. Attach one end of the red wire to the postivite (+) terminal of the 9-volt battery. Place the other end in the well containing the solution for which the conductivity will be measured.
  4. If the solution conducts electricity, the red LEF on the current indicator will light up.
