Simpler to use than a multimeter, the Go Direct™ Energy Sensor quantifies the voltage, current, power and energy output of a renewable energy system. Connect a source, such as a small wind turbine or solar panel, and the free app calculates the power and energy output. For simple energy measurements, the sensor includes a fixed load of 30Ω. Electrical contacts are built into the sensor for more advanced experiments, so you can connect it to an external point, such as the variable load, a resistor board, water pump or lights.
Go Direct™ sensors connect wirelessly via Bluetooth® technology or USB directly to your mobile device, Chromebook or computer using the free Graphical Analysis™ 4 app—no additional equipment or software purchases are necessary. The robust Go Direct™ rechargeable battery offers long battery life that can be monitored directly from app, providing always ready operation.
