In today’s At-Home Lab, students will answer questions like: “What is the best material for a school bus and why?” and “How does a material’s structure influence its properties?”
Furthermore, your students will:
- View videos that will allow them to observe the kinds of chemical changes that can lead to degradation of materials
- Engage in a cost-benefit analysis to determine the best material for a fleet of school buses
- Analyze data about chemical reactivity
- Test their knowledge by answering interactive poll questions
