Giant-size atom board lets students “see” the particles as each atom is “built.” Place the bright, color-coded magnetic protons, neutrons and electrons in the correct place on the steel atom board to represent elements 1–10. Show students the relationship of protons and neutrons to atomic mass and atomic number. Demonstrate how electron levels fill as atomic number changes, and show how ions or isotopes form. Includes a 16" × 16" bright white steel atom board and 30 color-coded magnetic particles—10 red (+) protons, 10 blue (–) electrons and 10 green neutrons. Set also contains teacher notes and giant reproducible element sheets. Two holes for mounting.
