Natural coconut fibers ultra-compressed into the size of a brick. Combined with one gallon of water it will expand to yield a full nine quarts of ready-to-use organic potting medium or soil improver. Compact for storage and handling; and unlike peat it is a completely renewable resource-actually a byproduct of coconut processing. Medium has excellent moisture retention capacity, remains highly porous, is near neutral pH (approx. 6.0) and is free from weeds and disease organisms. A great source for worm compost bedding.
