Product Details

Students investigate the rates of enzyme catalyzed reactions by observing the uncatalyzed decomposition of hydrogen peroxide by catalase. The effect of heating the catalase is also determined. Titration, a key laboratory method, is used to determine the rate of reaction—an important scientific concept.

Support stands, clamps, pipet bulbs, test tubes, boiling water bath and a potato are required and available separately.
