What effects do hormones have on plants? Will different concentrations of hormones affect plants differently? Students will be introduced to plant hormones and will see firsthand the powerful effects of gibberellic acid. Students place gibberellic acid solutions of varying concentrations on bean seedlings and observe and record the exciting results. Students will also have the opportunity to design and conduct their own gibberellic acid experiments. Kit contains Teacher's Notes, detailed student section, reproducible student handouts and enough materials for 30 students working in pairs.
