The Old Foamey and Elephant’s Toothpaste Kinetics Chemistry Demonstration Kit will be a lab favorite. Mix chemicals with dishwashing liquid in a tall cylinder and stand back. Watch as a large amount of foam erupts from the cylinder.
This will be your students’ favorite chemical reaction! Mix a combination of chemicals together with dishwashing liquid in a tall borosilicate cylinder and stand back. Watch as a large amount of soapy foam erupts from the cylinder. The catalyzed decomposition of hydrogen peroxide is discussed. Easy cleanup. Teacher Demonstration Notes included.
Note: A large demonstration tray is recommended. See AP5429 for a description of our fiberglass demonstration tray.
