A major component of the IMSA Fusion program is the available professional development, which is included with each module. Teachers have access to this valuable video-based training through a dedicated online portal. Professional development with IMSA Fusion covers pedagogy in one section and detailed curriculum training specific to the module purchased in the second section.
Effective pedagogy incorporates an array of teaching strategies that support intellectual engagement, connectivity to the wider world and supportive classroom environments. Effective pedagogical practice promotes the well-being of students, teachers and the school community—it improves students’ and teachers’ confidence; it builds community confidence in the quality of learning and teaching in the school.
Curriculum-Specific Training is covered in detail for each IMSA Fusion module. Several hours of instruction and tutorials are available that dive into the actual activities and curriculum that make up each module. Video training content is presented by the staff of IMSA who has been involved with the research, development and implementation of the IMSA Fusion program to over 14,000 students in the past 17 years.
