Cholesterol Determination of Simulated Blood—Student Laboratory Kit
Students conduct a completely safe labo- ratory investigation to determine human cholesterol levels using simulated blood for five different individuals. The test results provide insight into the success and failure of basic cholesterol-lowering treatments. The components in this cholesterol simu- lation are safe and contain no actual blood products. The Coroner ̓s Report—Urine and Blood Analysis Kit
Students act as pathologists by conducting an autopsy using simu- lated blood and urine samples. Students perform tests to check
for elevated levels of proteins and glucose as well as electrolyte ions. Use the test results and Pathology Evidence Chart to solve a mysterious death scenario. Complete for 30 students working in pairs. A Super Value Kit is also available for 5 classes of 30 students working in pairs.
