Chart, Chemical Storage Patterns
The Flinn Suggested Chemical Storage Patterns have been adopted across the United States.
The Flinn Suggested Chemical Storage Patterns are available as 11" W x 17" H wall charts. Post these charts in the chemical stores area to provide a ready and durable reference for your day-to-day needs.
Two charts are included. The first includes the ten inorganic families and the second has the nine organic families. The charts are made of very durable stock which is heavily laminated.
Chart, Laboratory Safety
Reinforce safety continuously with this full-color illustrated “Safety Bible” for your laboratory wall. A list of safety rules is the center focus of the chart. Twenty-three panels illustrating proper safety techniques surround the list.
Proper laboratory dress, use of emergency equipment, storing flam- mable liquids and water-reactive metals, carrying equipment and chemicals, labeling chemicals, disposing of laboratory waste, handling mercury and other chemical spills and many other pertinent safety concerns are highlighted. The concise captions are a constant reminder of the importance of safety.
Printed on tear-proof synthetic stock; top and bottom stiffening rods complete with eyelets make hanging in a prominent place easy; 36" x 44".
Respirator, Double Filter
To protect the instructor during brief periods of exposure to acid fumes, organic solvent vapor, and dust—these are NIOSH-approved respira- tors. The face mask is of pliable plastic and can be worn with glasses or chemical splash goggles. This is not a life-sustaining device and is meant only for use in an environment where the oxygen level is still quite good. Replacement cartridges—filters for acid, organic vapor, and dust protection—are available separately in packages of two filters.
