Tuttnauer® HeidolphTM Benchtop Sterilizer
When you’re looking for economical units for basic sterilization, you can’t go wrong with a Heidolph Benchtop Sterilizer. A compact unit featuring electronic controls that provides fast, safe and convenient sterilization of liquids and solids.
Autoclave, Burner Heated, Non-electric
This non-electric unit is the same autoclave as AP1004 (see below) except you must furnish the source of heat. An electric stovetop burner such as the one on page 452 (AP4830) may be used as the heat source.
Autoclave, Electric, Portable
Portable, electric sterilizer is a completely self-contained unit with a 1650 watt immersion heating element, automatic thermostatic control, automatic release valve and pilot light. Sturdy cast aluminum autoclave has a steam-tight cover with metal-to-metal seal (no rubber gaskets), safety valve, steam-release petcock, pressure gauge, an on-off switch and a 60-minute bell timer. Clamp locks prevent removal of the cover when pressure is present, and metal air release tubing gives quick exhaustion. At a temperature of 126 oC only a small amount of water is needed to create the necessary steam. Equipped with a three-wire grounded cord and plug for safety. Operates on 120 V, 50/60 Hz. 24-L capacity. Includes aluminum inner container with rack. A support base, Catalog No. AP1005, is available separately to protect your bench top.
