Most of the experiments are chemistry related and vary in difficulty from the introductory use of the spectro­ photometer to AP Chemistry. Several biological and environmental science experiments are also included as well as a detailed instructor’s guide, preparation notes, sample data and graphs.
Each laboratory experiment is accompanied by student laboratory instructions that include pre­lab questions, materials needed, procedure and data analysis information, data tables and post­lab questions. 144 pages, 81⁄2" x 11", spiral­bound.

Spectronic 200
The cutting­edge Spectronic 200 incorporates the latest optical and detector technologies. Durable spectrophotometer automatically performs a zero %T measurement at start­up and features a one­button 100%T measurement. Unit offers fast, full­wavelength scanning capa­ bility and takes measurements every two seconds. Features a rubber keypad that forms a seal with the top cover to prevent spills from enter­ ing the instrument and a clearly marked wavelength knob that avoids confusion. Internal sample compartment easily lifts out for convenient cleaning. Removable cuvet racks are designed to hold six square or test­tube cuvets.
Adjustable tilt screen with pre­loaded software displays a live color spectrum indicator allowing students to measure wavelength, scan a full spectrum or defined range, see precise absorbance values, measure multiple wavelengths simultaneously and make a Beer’s Law plot and calibration curve. Connect to a remote computer through a USB­B connection or use a USB­A for a printer or USB memory device. Includes 10 plastic 1⁄2" cuvets and 2 cuvet racks.
