Capillary Tubing
Ideal for experiments involving pressure differentials. Maximum temperature threshold of 820 oC (1510 oF); temperature differential of 165 o C (329 oF). Each piece of bor silicate glass tubing is 24" in length and measures 5 mm o.d. x 0.5 mm inner bore diameter.

Use a wing top on the burner. Rotate tubing in the flame until the glass becomes soft and the flame becomes yellow.
Remove from flame and hold for two seconds to distribute heat evenly.
Bend ends upward with a smooth, even motion.
