Voltage Probe
Measure potential in direct current or alternating current experiments. Voltage range of –10 to +10 V. Analog sensor.
Conductivity Sensor
Great for environmental testing of water samples for salinity, total diss- oved solids or conductivity. Fast response time and built-in temperature compensation. Readings can be taken in units of conductivity (μS/cm) or concentration (mg/L and ppm). Three different sensitivity settings: 0–100, 0–1000, and 0–10,000 mg/L TDS.
Constant Current System
Eliminate the need for separate power supplies when performing elec- trolysis and electroplating experiments in chemistry with this device! Includes a built-in current probe, capable of delivering up to 0.6 A at 5 V DC. A current-sensing resistor allows the monitoring of an output current through the sensor cable. The user is able to set the current by tuning the dial, with the system automatically adjusting the voltage. Connect to a LabQuest 2 or a computer to collect data.
Light Sensor
A wonderful sensor for a wide variety of experiments. The light sensor approximates the human eye in spectral response and can be used over three illumination ranges: 0–600, 0–6,000, and 0–150,000 lux.
Radiation Monitor
A unique sensor consisting of a Geiger-Müller tube mounted in a small, durable plastic case. Sensor is used with a data-collection interface to detect alpha, beta, gamma, and X-ray radiation. Explore nuclear counting statistics and shielding and measure the rate of nuclear decay. Radiation is detected through a thin window that is protected by a metal screen. A red LED blinks when radiation is detected. Digital sensor.
