Large secure handle makes pouring from these chemical-resistant cylin- ders safe and steady. Graduations are accurate and easy to read. Large hexagonal base prevents tipping and rolling. Polypropylene is resistant to most chemicals except very strong oxidizing agents.
Cylinder, Polymethylpentene
Polymethylpentene plastic is almost as clear as glass. It is very strong and will resist breaking after frequent impacts. Good chemical resis- tance except in the presence of very strong oxidizing agents. Prolonged exposure to hydrocarbons will cause the plastic to cloud. These cylin- ders are precision molded and usable to 175 °C.
