  Eye Model, Seven-Part in Orbit
Enlarged to over four times life-size, this model shows the human eye in relation to the bony orbit, the optic nerve and the muscles controlling eye movement. The removable eyeball dissects into six parts: upper and lower halves of the sclera, forward and rear halves of the choroid, lens, and vitreous humor. The floor and medial wall of the orbit are depicted and detailed with the closely associated facial bones, glands, blood vessels, and nerves. All key structures are numbered and highlighted in bright, hand-painted colors. Model measures 18 x 26 x 19 cm and includes display base and key card.
Ear Model
A low-cost, life-size ear model that shows all the fine details of the inner and middle ear in an excellent three-dimensional cutaway display. A durable full-color teaching card illustrating the internal and external anatomical structures of the ear is included and makes an outstanding teaching aid. Model size is 8 x 8 x 10 cm.
Ear Model, Giant Three-Part, Denoyer-Geppert
Five times life size, this non-breakable reproduction depicts the human organ of hearing and balance. To simplify tracing the path of sound- waves, the surrounding temporal bone of the skull has been sagittally sectioned along the entire length of the model. The overlying temporal bone has also been cut away exposing the entire middle ear chamber and the labyrinth. Two of the middle ear ossicles, the malleus (hammer) and incus (anvil), and the attached, see-through tympanic membrane lift out for hands-on study.
The labyrinth unit; consisting of the cochlea, vestibule, semicircular canals, auditory nerve and the stapes (stirrup); is detachable. Two of the three semicircular canals are made of transparent plastic tubing filled with colored fluid representing the endolymph. A visible air bubble in each will shift position when tilted, demonstrating the function of the canals in maintaining equilibrium. 36 features, hand-numbered on the model, are identified in the accompanying key. Dimensions are 16" x 11" x 7".
Ear Model, Standard Four-Part
Reveal the functional anatomy of the human ear with this extensively detailed model—three times life size. Outer, middle, and inner ear are all shown in detail-enhancing color. Removable parts include the tympanic membrane (eardrum) with malleus and incus (hammer and anvil), and the two-part labyrinth/cochlea with stapes (stirrup) and auditory nerve. Model measures 34 x 16 x 19 cm. Includes mounting/ display base and key card to numbered features.
3B Scientific® Skin Section, Model
The two halves of this skin relief model show the three layers of hairy and hairless skin in order to make clear the differences of the skin layers. Features detail with hair follicles, sebaceous glands, sweat glands, receptor, nerves and vessels. A great tool for demonstrating the anatomy of the human skin. Skin section is 40 times full size.
