Aquarium Air Pumps
Simply the best and quietest pumps available. The thick, rubber base and feet dampen vibrations for smooth, quiet, no-slip operation and elevate the housing for added electrical insulation and protection from spilled water. The thick plastic casing also contributes to ultra quiet operation and affords further protection from electrical hazards. These pumps also feature unique silicone polymer (Silaflex®) flapper valves. Air pollutants cause standard valves to curl and deteriorate—resulting in a gradual loss of airflow and pressure. Super resistant polymer valves offer much longer life and little or no decrease in performance over time.
NOTE: Pumps operate on standard 115 AC current, accept standard tubing and carry a limited 2-year warranty.
Airline Tubing
Vinyl-plastic tubing in the standard size for all aquarium pumps and accessories. Wall thickness of 1⁄16" and an inside diameter of 1⁄8". Tough, clear and resilient, this tubing will not crack or discolor with age.
Air Stone
The best choice for supplementary aeration in large tanks and primary aeration in small (five gallon or less) tanks. The cylindrical stone can also be used as a diffuser/circulator in undergravel filter lift tubes.
Bubble Wall Aerator
Improve aeration, circulation and appearance with this easy-to-install aquarium accessory. Place it just above gravel level at the rear or side of the aquarium to produce an attractive “wall” of bubbles. Made of porous tubing that is virtually non-clogging, can be effectively cleaned, and will outlast every other type of aerator. 10" in length.
Gang Valves
Durable plastic valves offer smooth, precise control of airflow. The fish- hook design, molded plastic hanger securely clamps tubing in place and leads airlines directly into the aquarium—eliminating tangles. Routing the incoming airline over the top of the hanger creates an effective anti- siphon—preventing pump-damaging backflow of water during power failures. Fits standard 1⁄8" inside diameter airline tubing.
Aquarium Heater, Submersible Type
Compared to rim-mount heaters, submersible heaters offer accuracy (±1 °F vs. ±3 °F), safety, tamper resistance, and greater versatility in placement. A directly adjustable control stem allows you to dial in the temperature setting you want. Limiting stops prevent accidental adjust- ments to extremely low or high temperatures. Internal and external seals provide outstanding protection from leakage.
Engineered for either fresh- or saltwater aquariums with an operating range of 18–32 °C (65–89 °F). Supplied with two secure suction mount- ing clamps. Powered by 115 V AC. Select the proper wattage for your size aquarium, allowing a minimum of five watts per gallon.
