Aquarium Thermometer
Accurate liquid crystal thermometer offers an excellent alternative to floating or inside-mount instruments. Thermometer measures over a range from 65–85 °F with an accuracy of ±1 °F. Peel-and-stick backing permits you to mount the thermometer anywhere on the outside surface of glass aquariums. Recommended placement below the water line on the front of the aquarium opposite the heater. Can be repositioned 51⁄4" x 3⁄4".
Aquarium Gravel
An attractive, natural-look gravel for aquariums. Coated and sealed—it will not bleach, leach or produce any particles or cloudiness in your tank. Supplied in convenient five-pound bags. You should allow for a minimum of one pound of gravel per gallon.

Aquarium Nets
Extra soft nylon nets that will not injure fish and will never rot or decay. The extra-long, three-wire, vinyl-coated handle/grip is fully protected from corrosion and will not scratch glass or plastic. Nets are equipped with a device for hanging on the rim of the aquarium. Available in three sizes.
Aquarium Breeding and Isolation Net
Isolate fry as well as injured or aggressive fish within your aquarium. Frame attaches to the side of the aquarium, with the top above the waterline so that the isolated fish will be inaccessible to the rest of the fish. The frame can be dismantled for easy storage.
Aquarium Scraper/Cleaner
An effective cleaner, a non-scratching scraper, and a planting tool—all in one! The extra-long 38-cm handle keeps hands dry and permits access to all corners of the tank. Supplied with a coarse sponge for tough cleaning and a soft sponge for routine cleaning—both are reversible for extended wear. Extra wide molded-in scraper makes algae removal a breeze.
Aquarium Siphon/Cleaner
The aquarium siphon/cleaner can remove water for exchange, and clean aquarium gravel at the same time. The siphon action of the water flowing out will draw the gravel halfway up the large plastic barrel. As the gravel is suspended and agitated, accumulated debris and waste are pulled off. Fast, efficient and effective. The medium size siphon is appropriate for tanks up to 20 gallons. For larger tanks, the large model is the best choice.

Hard Water Problems?
Mineral and scale building up on the inside of aquaria is an indicator of excessively hard (high mineral content) water. To offset this, tap water should be mixed with distilled water (or softened water) before putting it in the tank. Try a ratio of 1 part distilled to 2 parts tap. When replacing evapo- rative loss, always use distilled water only. Scale and mineral deposits can be removed from glass surfaces by scraping carefully with a razor blade.
