Magnifying Bug Box
A look-but-don’t-touch box. Often called a bug box, this versatile magnifying box has many uses. Take it into the field to magnify captured live specimens—they can’t get away while you study them! Look at leaves, seeds, plants, soil or water organisms. Ideal for examin- ing rock and mineral specimens in a safe, clean manner. Use the lid alone as a magnifier. You will find many uses for this rugged, clear acrylic box with a magnifying lid. Priced to allow laboratory sets. Box measures 11⁄2" cube.
Butterfly Habitat
Witness the wonder of the butterfly life cycle with this durable and reusable Butterfly Habitat. Lightweight and easy-to-hang. See-through mesh with a zippered entry allows for easy care and feeding. 24" tall.
Insect Net, Standard Sweep
Economical, yet durable nets are perfect for general purpose and student use. Stiff, galvanized steel net ring, 12" in diameter, is secured to a 36" smooth hardwood handle. Aluminum alloy ferrule construction holds the hoop to the handle; secure in use, yet detachable—should net bags require repair or replacement. Net bags are long-wearing tightly woven muslin with tops bound in durable sailcloth.
Insect Net, Student
A practical, inexpensive and durable aerial net for beginning entomolo- gists. The net bag is 12" in diameter and is made of strong polyester netting with muslin reinforcing band around the top. The smooth maple handle is 18" long. Other construction features are identical to those described for the Standard Sweep insect net (Catalog No. FB0021).
