This PAVO bundle gets students thinking about the transfer of momentum and kinetic energy through hands-on synchronous activities. Four total activities allow students to better grasp how energy is transferred in collisions. One hands-on activity implements a double ball drop, which launches a ball higher than its release height. Another activity is fully digital, and is composed of laboratory videos of real phenomena that engage students and demonstrate the transfer of energy through collision. A mixture of multiple choice and short answer questions in each activity will test what your students have learned, and reveal their knowledge of the transfer of energy through collisions. By conducting experiments related to the conversion of momentum, and accounting for energy transfer during collision, students will prepare themselves for their final activity of this PAVO bundle in which they test predictions of energy transfer through collisions in interactive experiments.
