This dynamics track is the highest quality we’ve ever tested! Use this dynamics track with the included Vernier carts and obtain amazingly accurate results when studying the laws of motion. Coated with a clear anodized finish, this track provides lower friction than bare metal. Adjustable feet and ring-stand bracket make it easy to level or turn it into a ramp. Track length of 1.2 meters is long enough for most dynamics experiments yet a convenient length for storage. Dynamics track includes a plunger cart that has a spring-loaded plunger for consistent collisions while the included dynamics cart is similar but has no plunger. With extremely low friction due to sealed bearings and machined wheels, these superior carts give very high-quality data. Interchangeable magnetic and hook-and-pile end caps make for many possible experiments. Includes motion encoder receiver and motion encoder cart with magnetic and hook-and-pile end caps. Additional standard and plunger carts are available separately.
