This laboratory acid pump provides controlled, safer dispensing of most acids and caustic solutions directly from standard 2.5-L acid bottles. The plastic pump securely attaches to the bottle’s screw neck, and all components in contact with the liquid are constructed of chemical-resistant materials. A 100-mL bottle threads into a side socket on the valve housing to function as a pressure bulb, forcing liquid through the delivery spout for smooth transfer. Flow is stopped by pressing the relief valve on top of the pump for controlled operation. The entire unit can be disassembled for cleaning and maintenance. Not recommended for use with perchloric acid or concentrated nitric acid in plastic bottles.
