Product Details

Portable sterilizer features Fenwall thermostatic control, automatic release valve, and pilot light. It is constructed of sturdy cast aluminum and has a steam-tight cover with metal-to-metal seal (no rubber gaskets), safety valve, steam-release petcock, pressure gauge, and an on-off switch. Clamp locks prevent removal of the cover when pressure is present and metal air release tubing gives quick exhaustion. At a temperature of 126 ºC only a small amount of water is needed to create the necessary steam. Requires a heat source—an electric stovetop burner such as Catalog No. AP4830 may be used as the heat source.
