The Bandit™ STEM Electrophoresis Kit provides a unique build-it-yourself approach to electrophoresis, allowing students to assemble a fully functioning gel system before running DNA samples. Each kit includes a buffer chamber, Electrodams™ for casting and running gels, a reusable corrosion-resistant electrode wire rated for approximately 120 runs, a double-sided comb with 6- or 9-well options and matching comb supports, a circuit demonstration LED light strip, positive and negative leads with rubber-coated alligator clips, a circuit controller, a USB-C cable, and a durable storage pouch for easy classroom organization. The low-voltage design keeps operation safe for students while reinforcing foundational biotechnology and engineering concepts.
