Anesthetizer, Lull-A-FlyTM Kit

Finally a foolproof method to anesthetize Drosophila!
Lull-A-FlyTM will anesthetize Drosophila for up to 45 minutes without killing or sterilizing them. Besides working like a charm, Lull-A-Fly is a much safer alternative than ether. The small-tipped applicator allows anesthetization right in culture bottles, and the amount required is mini- mal and, therefore, less expensive.
Each kit contains 15 mL of Lull­A­Fly (150 doses), 15 anesthetic wands, a morgue container and complete directions for use.

Drosophila Anesthetizer, Carbon Dioxide (CO2)
A safe, simple way to put fruit flies to sleep without any hazardous or expensive chemicals. The CO2 gas generated with this apparatus will anesthetize the flies. Note: Requires Alka-Seltzer® tablets and water (not included); approximately 1⁄4 tablet per application.
Brushes, Sorting—Camel Hair
Wooden-handled brushes with super-fine bristles bound by a metal ferrule. Bristle tuft measures 1⁄8" D x 1⁄2" L. Ideal for sorting anesthe- tized fruit flies, as the soft bristles will not harm the flies in any way. Package of six brushes.

Quieting/Slowing Solution for Protozoa
Non-toxic methyl cellulose (3.0%) solution for slowing the movements of protozoa. The high viscosity of a drop of this solution added to a wet-mount preparation will slow (or cease) movement while students make careful observations. An indispensable aid to microscopy.
