series, the tongue model is fascinat-
ing in that it combines various enlargements of specific parts of the
tongue in one model. It comprises a macroscopic view of the tongue
in life size (dorsal view) and microscopic views of the various papillae
of the tongue (10–20x life size) and of a taste bud (approx. 450x life
size). All views are mounted on a base that also features an overview
of the sensory and sensitive innervation of the tongue. A unique

Enlarged 3.5 times, this model of the lower jaw provides the details
that normal-sized models don’t show. The 31 labeled structures
provide visual relationships like no other jaw model. An incisor, devel-
oping canine, pre-molar and molar teeth are all removable to illustrate
jaw/teeth connections. A portion of the mandible is cut away showing
nerve and blood supplies to the teeth. An absolute must for anatomy
