Heavyweight, clear, soda-lime glass dishes commonly referred to as specimen dishes or finger bowls. Indispensable in the biology laboratory, these dishes are used for culturing microorganisms, staining, soaking and anything else you can think of! Dishes are securely stackable so that each one acts as a cover for the dish below. Convex bottoms eliminate cross-contamination from dish to dish. If used as culture dishes, they should be protected from harsh detergents and washed only with water and a non-abrasive sponge.
