Introduce students to spectroscopy with the affordable and versatile Go Direct™ SpectroVis® Plus Spectrophotometer. This device collects a full wavelength spectrum—absorbance, percent transmittance, intensity, fluorescence, or emission—in under one second and connects easily through Bluetooth® wireless technology or USB. Once peak wavelength is identified, the instrument can determine solution concentrations using Beer’s law, monitor reaction rates, and support a broad range of biochemistry and microscale applications. A low light path allows the use of micro and semi-micro cuvettes for enzyme kinetics, fluorescence bioassays, and colorimetric studies. Two built-in excitation sources (405 nm and 500 nm) expand experimental possibilities, while long-life incandescent and LED light sources minimize maintenance and ensure consistent performance.
