2.0 liters/package. Preparation: For the isolation of organisms capable of fermenting lactose. Mix 50 g of agar with 1000 mL of water. Bring to a boil and stir to dissolve completely. Sterilize at 121 ºC at 15 lb of pressure for 15 minutes.
