Product Details

The Vernier Go Direct® Emissions Spectrometer is designed for instructional physics and chemistry laboratories focused on emission spectroscopy and light analysis. The instrument measures emission spectra across a wavelength range of 350–900 nm and connects to computers, tablets, or LabQuest® devices via Bluetooth® wireless technology or USB. Using a linear CCD detector and a 1000 lines/mm grating, the spectrometer delivers reliable spectral resolution for observing discrete emission lines and comparing light sources. Students can display and analyze spectral data using Vernier Spectral Analysis®, Logger Pro®, or LabQuest® software. The spectrometer is suitable for analyzing spectrum tubes, light bulbs, LEDs, and large light sources such as the sun, with optional optical fiber support for focused measurements. Compact dimensions and USB-powered operation make it well suited for classroom benches, demonstrations, and student investigations.
