The Flinn Goggle UV Sanitizer Cabinet is designed to help science classrooms safely disinfect goggles between uses using UV-C germicidal technology. The cabinet utilizes a high-intensity 25-watt UV-C bulb that emits short ultraviolet wavelengths shown to damage the DNA of bacteria, viruses, and other pathogens to prevent replication. A five-minute exposure cycle eliminates over 99.5% of bacteria present. The interior racking system stores multiple pairs of goggles without stacking, allowing effective light exposure. A 15-minute timer, light-viewing window, and front-panel operating instructions simplify use. A keyed lock secures the doors during sterilization, and safety door switches automatically shut off the UV light source if opened. Constructed of 24-gauge steel with a white baked enamel finish, the unit comes fully assembled with an 8' neoprene cord. UL 73:2011 compliant. Goggles not included.
